Indian River Sports Center Is Now an Authorized Alera Marine Dealer

Indian River Sports Center is proud to announce a new partnership with Alera Marine Group, becoming an authorized dealer for their full lineup of premium pontoon and tritoon boats. Starting this season, customers can explore, configure, and purchase Alera Marine boats right here at our dealership in Indian River, Michigan.
Who Is Alera Marine?
Alera Marine Group is a next-generation boat manufacturer founded by Coley Brady and backed by a leadership team with over 200 years of combined marine industry experience. Their mission is straightforward: build a better boat without cutting corners on what matters most.
Unlike many manufacturers entering the pontoon space, Alera is not a startup guessing its way forward. Their team of 40+ designers, engineers, and craftspeople has reimagined pontoon construction from the ground up, investing heavily in automation, precision engineering, and materials that are built to last. Every design decision was made with the owner's experience in mind, from the way tubes are welded to the materials underfoot.
What Makes Alera Different
What sets Alera apart starts below the waterline. Their tubes are fully baffled and pressurized, meaning if a weld is ever compromised, only a small section is affected rather than the entire length of the boat. Continuous keels run from nose to stern in a single shot, adding serious strength for beaching and superior tracking on the water.
One of the biggest differentiators is their Generation 2 PET composite decking. Alera has moved entirely away from plywood, which has been a marine industry standard for decades despite the obvious problem of mixing wood and water. Their closed-cell composite deck is 40% lighter than marine-grade plywood, twice as strong, and comes with a lifetime guarantee. It is moldproof, waterproof, and will not develop the seam lines that show through vinyl flooring as traditional plywood decks age.
The chassis itself is overbuilt by design, with 43% of the framing comprised of triple-hollow crossmembers. As outboard horsepower continues to climb industry-wide, Alera's framing is engineered to handle the extra weight and torque without compromise.
The Lineup
Alera currently offers two production model lines, with a third on the way.
Model A is Alera's entry-level pontoon, available in 20, 22, and 24-foot configurations with an MSRP ranging from $60,000 to $112,000. Do not let entry-level fool you though. The Model A comes loaded with features that other manufacturers charge thousands extra for, including composite decking, full aluminum helms, and premium fit and finish throughout. Alera's promise with the Model A is simple: no plywood, no rotomold helms, no hidden upcharges.
Model M is their premium tritoon, available in 23 and 25-foot configurations with MSRPs ranging from $90,000 to $200,000. The triple-pontoon design delivers enhanced stability and buoyancy, while the wider deck provides more space for seating, storage, and moving around. Powered by Mercury Verado engines ranging from 150 to 500R horsepower, the Model M is built for everything from family cruising to serious watersports.
Model G is currently in development and coming soon.
Both the Model A and Model M are available in Q (quad lounge) and L (lounge) floorplan configurations, and customers can use Alera's online Boat Builder tool to customize their ideal setup before coming in to see us.
Why This Partnership Matters
At Indian River Sports Center, we have always been committed to offering our customers the best brands on the water. Adding Alera Marine to our new inventory lineup fits that mission perfectly. Their emphasis on quality construction, owner-focused design, and dealer support aligns with how we have always done business.
Northern Michigan's inland lakes deserve boats that are built to perform in real conditions, not just look good on the showroom floor. Alera's overbuilt chassis, composite decking, and precision-engineered tubes are exactly the kind of quality we want to stand behind.
Whether you are a first-time pontoon buyer looking at the Model A or an experienced boater ready for the performance of a Model M tritoon, we are here to help you find the right fit.
